On a personal note, we're all doing well over here. I am of course 100% completely healed and back into the full swing of life, as is expected. I wish I could tell you that I've lost all the babies-weight, but sadly, a couple of pounds have decided to stick around. Besides, does a woman's body ever go back to "prepregnancy?" Maybe it can, but I believe it is (even in small ways) forever changed. It's a small price.
Since this is a short post, I want to take a moment to plug my agency that I worked with during this surrogacy: Worldwide Surrogacy. I really can't say enough good things about them: they are kind, caring, and professional with a wealth of knowledge and resources. If any of you readers are considering surrogacy, I'm pointing you to them.
That's a wrap, folks! I may be back on here with other news in the future, but until then, keep on keepin' on, friends. :)
Hello, I am a PhD student in Paris, France and do a research on surrogate mothers. I saw that you are (were) one and I wondered if you might be interested in participating in my study? It is pretty simple: I would send you a consent form and then 3 different questionnaires about Empathy, depression-anxiety and social desirability. It would be anonymous of course! If you wish I can explain more through an email or so. I already interviewed several surrogate mothers in Europe but the more the better for the research. Hope this message doesn't bother you!
